KIPP Memphis BASICS Necessities Drive

When a child’s basic needs are met, learning can flourish. KIPP Memphis Public Schools (KMPS) aims to break educational barriers so KIPPsters can achieve academic excellence. To do this, we must support the whole child. Our region understands the importance of assisting families that are facing challenges with getting  access to daily necessities. KMPS has a 20 year history of closing achievement gaps and assisting families in predominantly underserved communities. We’ve learned even the smallest gestures can make a world of difference. In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, join us in supporting families across Memphis by donating to our MLK Day: BASICS Necessities Drive January 9-13.

*BASICS: Break Educational Barriers, Achieve Academic Excellence, Support the Whole Child, Inspire Joyful Learning Environments, Connect with our Communities, Strive for Excellence.*

Our mission is to coincide with the Martin Luther King Junior holiday, honoring his commitment to community, service and education.

Supporters can also drop off contributions at any KIPP Memphis School office or its Regional Office (2670 Union Avenue Ext., #1100).
